It’s the spookiest time of year come and celebrate Halloween with some Disney magic. It is time for Walt Disney’s annual Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party that takes place at the Magic Kingdom park. It’s the happiest haunting in the world. The event is taking place now and runs till November 1, 2017. Guest can wear costumes that adhere to the rules and regulations available on the Walt Disney website. Halloween fun awaits at this after dark special holiday event, don’t miss it.

Trick or Treat

ThinkstockPhotos-184661090Trick or Treat throughout the park and get your fill of candies, treats, snacks and more magical delicacies. When guests arrive, they can travel from land to land and take in all the holiday decorations and atmosphere. Join your favorite characters as they get in the holiday spirit too! Everyone will love this extra magical Halloween.

There are also special accommodations for food allergies. Guests with food allergies can pick up a teal treat bag and cast members will give you a teal token that can be redeemed at the parks Allergy Friendly Center.

Mickey’s “Boo to You” Halloween Parade

Disney Characters are dressed for the occasion in their best costumes for a spooky procession. The grim Grandmaster is the headless horseman himself. A hair-raising ride by the headless Horseman himself begins the celebration. Frightening floats make their way through the park along with the stars from the Haunted Mansion.

Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular

IMG_4865The Sanderson Sisters host the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltactular. Experience chills and thrills when the sisters return to the mortal world to throw one spelltacular Halloween party. They enlist the help of Disney Villains to host this wicked fun event.

With this freighting help from the villains they cast a spell on everyone in Magic Kingdom. Wild visual projections and special effects make this one event not to miss.


The evening ends with Happy Hallowishes Fireworks show. The night is filled with delightful frights hosted by the Ghost Host from the Haunted Mansion.

Wicked versions of melodies from Disney’s past play as creepy colors crawl over Cinderella’s Castle. Spine tingling pyrotechnic effects and fireworks light up the sky in this magically wicked festival. Don’t worry, it is just a bit of ghoulish fun.

Enjoy Park Classics

During the event guests can discover and ride many iconic attractions. Many favorites are open for everyone to enjoy. In Adventureland guests can ride the Magic Carpets of Aladdin, Pirates of the Caribbean and the Swiss Family Treehouse. Frontierland’s Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Country Bear Jamboree are open. Haunted Mansion in Liberty Square is a classic ride guests love. When you visit Fantasyland, guests can ride Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, it’s a small world, Peter Pan’s Flight, Mad Tea Party, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and Under the Sea- Journey of the Little Mermaid to name a few. Dumbo the Flying Elephant and the barnstormer are open and located in the Storybook Circus. Tomorrowland’s Astro Orbiter, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, Space Mountain, Tomorrowland Transit Authority People Mover, Tomorrowland Speedway and Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor are all open.
